The social network Facebook has been found to have spread spam links with the words 'looks like you'. Cyber security experts are urging people to be vigilant as phishing attacks are being perpetrated by such spam, which is designed to collect users' confidential information.
‘Opening such a link will automatically forward the message to another person from the user's chat list. That way, the same spam link will reach thousands of users through social media, ”said security researcher Naresh Lamgade.
According to him, if the data is given access by opening a spam link, pornographic content is seen. The message is then automatically forwarded from Messenger to the group or friend in the user's chat list.
There are also cases where the recipient abuses the sender when he sees such a message. However, the sender does not know that the links are automatically forwarded.
