Currently, there is a general effect of monsoon winds in Nepal. The low pressure line of the monsoon is slightly south of the Terai region of Nepal. Light to moderate rain is expected in some places of Province No. 1, Gandaki, Karnali and Far Western Province and a few places in other states. Light to moderate rain is expected in many places across the country on Tuesday. There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder / lightning in one or two places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Far Western Provinces. The Meteorological Department has requested to take general precaution as the water level in rivers and streams may rise due to the risk of landslides and debris flow in the hilly areas due to the possibility of heavy rains.
